Angry Running With The (my) Dough (RWTD)

Where in the hell (clever pun, no?) is James at? 2 1/2 weeks and no responses to tune requests at his forums. The last time I did a tune request, 2 weeks. I was led to believe that this guy was supposed to be the uber-meister of tuning! Perhaps that's true, but timely customer service is just as important!

2 1/2 weeks doesn't sound too bad. I once waited 60 days for a chip that was supposed to be sent 2nd day air from JDM and had to cancel the charge with my credit card company. I received a bad art carr torque converter from LFP and it almost took me a year to get a refund...

In this day in age, not being able to reach an Internet connection or phone is impossible. Chit, doesn’t everyone and their grandmothers have cell phones now?

A simple phone call can do wonders...

James is a great tuner and person. I'm sure he'll be getting to you soon. Please extend your patience just slightly longer...

I ordered stuff from JLP once, It never showed up and they billed my CC. It took a long time to get them to credit my CC back and I told them to forget about sending me any parts.

What kind of backyard business is JLP running in PA. I wouldn't even order a drink of water from JLP again.

They suck IMHO.

Did you recieve his e-mail to his customers? If not it basically stated that he is going to be trying to catch up with his tunes these next couple of weeks, and with him going to racing events, and the hurricanes, he has been real busy these last couple of months, but I am sure he will fix you up, just give him time. I am still wating on a winter tune my self, so I know how you feel, but playing catch up takes time.

I agree Customer service is EVERYTHING M.O.P., and James (RWTD) happens to be EXTREMELY GOOD at it,
BUT
As said, JP "got hammered" by like 3 Hurricanes in a Row,
and that was shortly after taking time off to spend with a dieing
close Family Member, (that person is now RIP) : o (
He e-mailed ALL HIS CUSTOMERS to let them know he was taken that time off, and later e-mailed everyone again explaining he had to close shop due to the string of hurricanes, and even later to explain he was behind, and had A LOT to catch up with (understandably so) HE HAS NOR HAD NO CONTROL OVER THE SERIES OF EVENTS THAT TOOK PLACE IN HIS WORLD,
give um a break

I know it sucks waiting for something, but there is SOMETIMES
"VERY GOOD REASONS FOR IT" I agree you should take this to the phone with HIM (YOU SEE WHATS ALREADY HAPPENING HERE)

BTW
JLP runs a GREAT COMPANY and has treated me like Gold, so does JDM, PSP, and all the others I deal with.
and YES some of them mentioned NEVER EVER return my e-mails. YOU just have to learn the rules if your in a hurry

There are two things I learned very quickly @ the L Vendors.
NEVER expect fast service during Racing Season,
AND do all your modding in the Winter ; o )

WOO HOO, Mod season is apon us................

I'm in South Louisiana and have been looking for a close reputable tunner, Is RWTD the best place? I figured there would be someone in Houston?

Don't feel bad, I sent him an email on the Oct. 8, 2004 and then again on the Oct. 20th 2004 and never got a response. Also tried calling tons and can't ever get anyone.
