Unhappy Lightning season is over in Mass.......

Well guys, I don't know why but this is the first season I am really sad putting my lightning away. Probably because i seems to be running better then ever since i came back from JDM and now it's gonna sit.

It's snowing like a **** outside and depression has set in. I just had to drive a few miles on my worn out nittos and it wasn't very fun.

Finally picked up my beater today. Been in the shop for a month and every time i called they had an excuse why it wasn't done. Then someone called asking me why i haven't picked it up cause it's been done for two weeks

Anyhow.........no more fun till next year. All you guys in the southern states.........have some fun for us northerners!!

You could always buy a Gen1 and run snow tires on it.
Were expecting flurries tonight and I still have my drag tires on..

Looks like time for me to put the beast to sleep for a while. I guess I can finally take the KB off and send it out for repair.

That must be the first KB to go bad.
Beacause when I was deciding on which aftermarket blower to buy, I called and talked to someone at KB. I conveyed my concern about all the KB's I have heard going bad, and the man told me he see's all the warrantied KB's, and NONE have been returned

I hear you, brother! Season has been over for 16 days, 13 hours, and 32 minutes here. The only good point about the truck being in the garage is that I have dropped the insurance to just liability... meaning I still get my $$$ if the hosue burns down or the L gets stolen. If your truck is paid off then you should do it too and save yourself some cash through the winter.

Well I have two full seasons on my KB and I feel it has held up pretty well. It has a ton of 1/4 mile runs on it, and about 30,000 miles. It is running fine, it just has a leaky seal so I have to add oil into it every once in a while.

It has held up a ton better than the works 112 - Magnuson rear entry blower I once had

Thats not the point........

The point was/is that KB refuses to acknowledge that they have problems with the front nose cone of their blower. I never said it doesn't produce power

Gator,

I am pretty sure the the KB's being sold right now have an improved nosecone. I know of two blowers that were sent back for the NEW nosecone. I gotta admit the Whipple 2.3 is starting to sounds like the way to go

Later

Atleast when there is snow on the ground you know why you have parked it, the real problem is when the snow melts but you wont drive it because of the salt that is on the road. Also the fact that I have the opportunity to race a 05 mustang sure makes it hard to keep it parked.

On an up note if it snows it will make it easier to sell my sled. (snowmobile for those lucky enought to not know what a sled is)
