Best Rpm For Launch

Hey Guys!!

I've gpt a 2400 PI TQ and was wondering and I "flash" it what Rpm should I launch at?

I've heard 1100 and 1500 so far, who else has an answer to an age old question of mine?

Btw.. I've got 28 Hoosiers and I've got 400hp on one side and 490hp on the other.

Thanks,
Tony

With my 2500 stall I get the best 60fts by launching at the highest possible rpm w/o spinning. Even a very small audible screech off the line and I loose ET.

If the track is sticky I can litteraly floor it before the last yellow. Under the worst track condidtions I've seen so far... I launched around 1400 and quickly rolled into it. Seems to get me consistant 1.7s

It's when you have a stock convertor that this method does'nt work as good as a 800rpm launch and flashing it.

hmm

i think alot of guys with the 2400 stall launch around 16-18. Some of the big dogs even launch a little harder.
