Question jlp shackles

can anybody here with the jlp 2-3-4 shackles tell me how
long they are from end to end? inches or cm, i dont care.

i've come across some shackles and i really dont know
what kind of drop they will give me....but i do know they
are pretty long.

any help at all would be much appreciated.

thanks

will do

svt_2004,
i'm leaving town at 4am....wont be back in for a few days.
right now i dont have the shackles with me, and i dont
know exactly which shackles i've got, that's why i've
been asking the earlier question on the length itself.
in any case, i'll check them out when i get back,
and i will let you know.

An easy "rule of thumb" on shackles.......

As you know they go at the rear of the spring. When you put 'em on you're not moving the front attach point, so the axle, which is in the middle of the spring, moves half as much as your shackle move. So, if the shackle moves the rear of the spring up 4 inches, the axle will move up two inches. If the axle moves up two inches, you'll find the truck two inches closer to the ground.
