Thumbs up OUTSTANDING service from Kenne Bell.

Well on Monday I went to swap my upper blower pulley to my 3.5er. After the swap the truck was sitting in my shop with the hood up idling along when I noticed some noise coming from my KB. I hadn't really noticed it with the hood closed but now I could hear it. I checked the oil in the blower, full. Now I am getting bothered, SSOTN at Cecil is only 5 days away. I take off the belt and spin the blower by hand. You can clearly feel a rough spot in every turn. Now I am scared, thinking it is time to burn this truck, everytime I want to go to the track, it breaks. I am pissed! My blower is well out of the KB 1 year warranty and I have 0 dollars since the motor fiasco. I call JDM to see if they can suggest anything. Talk to Jim and he says he has no blowers he could loan me and suggests I call KB, what do I really have to lose. So I say screw it and pick up the phone again. James@KB picks up the phone and I explain my situation to him. Going racing on Saturday blah blah blah. He says if I send out my blower they could fix it for me. I explain how it is well over a year old, he just tells me to send it. I tell him again about how important Saturday is to me. He asks me to hold on and puts me on hold for a few minutes. Comes back to the phone and says he has a blower in stock and will put my name on it if I get my blower out to him. I say ok and thank him. Once I hang out I pulled the blower off my truck so I could ship it out Tuesday. Already to late to ship it. I overnight proirity it out to them on Tuesday, still awaiting to hear how much that was. HaHa. They get the blower on Wed. and James calls me at about 6ish to explain to me my problem. He tells me he is going to send out the blower he has there. He will cover ground shipping, I have to pay to overnight it back to me. Of course I agree and give the credit card info. My NEW KB arrived at 10:25 this morning, 5 minutes later and the shipping would have been free. I installed the new blower this afternoon and everything seems to be GOOD and ready to go. Monday, hear the noise, Tuesday, ship the blower, Wednsday, KB ships one out to me, Thursday, she is running again. Not bad for having to ship across the country. I can not thank KB enough for all the help they have given me in these last few days. If it wasn't for them I think my truck would be in the classifieds right now with a Heaton on top of the motor.
I would also like to thank JDM again for all of their help getting my truck going again. KB and JDM, two teams I am PROUD to be a part of. -Mat-

Thumbs up

Awesome!

Yep, James at KB took care of me too when I had problems.
Everytime I hear that KB takes care of their customers, I feel better about giving them my money.

Incidentally, that "rough" spot you felt in the blower... did you really spin it and take a look to see what happened?
Mine had a rotor hit the side of the casing. At the outlet, the rotors looks pretty badly chewed up. They didn't exactly explain what the cause was. Perhaps a batch of them had some suspect bearings or something.
