I'm looking to pull my cupholder tray out of the dash, I looked at how it's assembled briefy but didn't see any obvious screws or mechanism to release if from the track. Just wondering if anyone has done this or knows how to do it before I break something. Thanks!

when open there should be a metal tab, push down and pull out.

 

Could you elaborate more on where this metal tab is located?
