folks, i think i'm missing something from the inside of my bed. at the front of the bed, inside the bed, at the bottom of each side, there are 2 holes. they're about 2" x 5". shouldn't there be some kind of plastic caps or something covering this up? i can see right thru it so surely it lets a lot of water in. BTW, i'm the 2nd owner of my L so i don't know if it came with them from the factory or not. are mine just missing?

going on trip this friday and hauling some stuff that doesn't need to get wet under cover.

 

If I remember there are rubber grometts there

 

I looked at mine and in the front wall of the bed and, sure enough, down low and toward the outside, there are large oval plastic plugs on holes that might be about 2 x 5 inches. But they are plugged and I don't know why anyone would remove the plugs.........................

 

thanks for looking. i can't fathom why they were removed. now i've got to find some replacements. grrrrrr.
