You seem to allways have the answers to my questions so here it goes...
How do you fix the Cluck/rattle when the window is at the end of its travel ( only on the way down ) I hate the dealership and would rather work on my L myself. Even if it cost me a few dollars.
Also I''m getting a popping/cluck noise from my steering coulum area. I usually happens when I'm taking off from a stop or getting back on the gas after bracking.

Let me tell you about that dam window clunk. Mine may not do it every time (but it does do it) and when it does, there have been a few ocassions where I dam near jumped out of my frigging skin.
MAN THAT IS ONE LOUD A$$ NOISE. (ok maybe I'm a little nervous,
paranoid may be a better word) hehehe, but got dam it's loud.
Sorry Bro I haven't tackled that one yet, but maybe it would be a
good winter project ? I'm a nut, I do ALL MY MOD'S IN THE WINTER, outside in the rain, snow and cold, and on a rock driveway. "OUCH"
As for your other issue now thats a new one to me ?
Tons (OR MOST OF US) have the world famous Clunk in the Front End, but we all know thats due to the idiots at Ford using a slotted oval hole and a round washer, so the Front actually shifts when you turn the wheel all the way to the end, (a very common problem), but sorry again I have no experience with a popping clunk when stopping or taken off.

My window doen not pop it rattels towards the end of the track as it rolling down... I pulled the panel and can here it but I cant find whats causing it?
I think my pop or light clunk has something to do with the spring on the top of the steering coulum. If you stick you head under the dash you will see a spring at the top of the coulum. I think its there to take up play? Why else would a spring be there?
My list of problems....
1) Flaking door handles ( both )
2) Rattle from both windows during roll down
3) Stange pop from steering coulum
4) Possible intermediate clutches in tranny failure.
Im a little pissed at this point but I'll tackle it one issue at a time I guess.
I an 03L.
My screen name @ Nloc is Sick03L.
