this sucks no one around here wants to race. There is a whole bunch of rice rockets that just sit at a parking lot and talk trash and that only lightnings are old people who only drive 3 mph in Goldsboro NC. i went to Wayne county speedway which is 1/8 mile and a whole 12 cars showed up (8 trailered in).

 

Come up to SSOTN on the 13th and have some fun! I spent a few weekends down your way, it was in Highpoint college, MAN I loved that place!! I was in the military but my girlfriend at the time attended there. Wish I had a lightning then! I had a RX-7, very good car, let the flaming begin, A bunch of good times in the frat houses though!

Hey arnlight, which L is yours around Goldsboro? I live there too. Have you ever seen a black 2000 with hard tonneau, 00 chrome wheels, and blacked out headlights (PA plates).. that's mine. See you around

 

And i woudn't go as far to say "no competition". Not all Goldsboro Lightnings are stock

 

That is the good thing about wayne county speedway, you can run circles around that track. If you go else where, you have to wait in line, not there. You go there to race, you go to fay to watch. You should come down to Fay on the 26th

 

Yeah, never had to wait at Wayne... pretty laid back there too. What do you think of Kinston?

 

I have never been to kinston, but I would like to go sometime. I usually stick with Fay, Benson, and Wayne.

 

hey arnlight, I believe some people are going to wayne tonight (street cars, mustangs, I know 1 L and a vet) I might go as well so 2 L's. You should come and check it out.

 

the black 2000 with the hardtop tonneau, yeah ive seen it on Seymore Johnson i deliver furniture for Furniture Fair there all the time, My L is white with soft tonneau and a cervini wing on the back tailgate, whens the next time youre going to the track?

 

Yeah, i've seen yours too. The wing sets it apart from the other couple white L's in town. Small world, my girl works at Furniture fair. I won't be going to the track until next season. I'm writing this from the desert
