Thumbs down toyo proxes update

40k miles and girlfriend gets a set of these, and boy do they look aggressive,..

any good, bad or ugly to say about them?

update goes like this, 2 weeks ago at 49k on the odometer i figured lets get rotated ,balanced and 4 wheel alignment done with my oil change. all had been pretty good till that point then the dealersays well 1 tire is outa round and dosnt want to road balance, drive it and see if its ok so i have a trip to n.c. coming up that should be a good test. well it was vibrating somewhat and i figured lets take it back up and see what they can do,...now at 51k miles 2 weeks later i have 3 tires outa round and they will not balance out and they do vibrate,..the dealer is supposed to call me in a few days , they are gonna try to locate a toyo warranty dealer around here so they can measure the tread and prorate me a warranty on 3 ,.....im like hey if 2 go bad in 2 weeks they had better do all 4!

will let ya know if my dealer who sold me the tires stands by me or decides i am a candidate for sexual relations.

not sure what happened to the pic of the tires

I hate it when people can't write complete sentences. My head hurts from trying to read this post 5 times.

Here you go, this guy is selling two brand new ones for $180 each, but he's in the New York area, no one has responded as yet.

Thumbs up Toyo's are Good

Mounted a set of new Toyo's 6 weeks ago and so far, they have have been just fine. Appear to be as good as the three sets of Goodyear's I've gone through. Traveled from Orlando to the Outer Banks of North Carolina and back on the Toyo's (1,600 miles through parts of two hurricanes) with no problems whatsoever.

The Nitto's are okay but will wear out much faster than the Goodyear's. The Toyo's will last longer than the Goodyear's.

The Toyos are great for daily driver purposes but I wouldn't try to drag race with them.

They use a slightly harder compound than the Goodyear's or the Nitto's and are V speed rated rather than W, so you may be right about them not hooking up quiet as well as the OEM's.
