Thumbs up 10 Second Club!

Well as you can see in some of the post, a new member joined the 10 second club yesterday. It was me. First pass out on my new JDM motor and bamb 10.97 @ 123(I think). Motor had maybe 10 miles on it. I am I the first to make a 10 sec pass the first time out>??? It is such a GREAT feeling after these last 11 months! This was also done with EVERY SINGLE stock piece on the truck aside from my Bogarts and the black plastic radiator cover(the top on the radiator makes for an awesome tool and parts holder now). Truck is probably weighing in around 4900LBs. That was my only pass as I had to get home early, put there will be a lot more to follow it with some deeper 10 second passes. Thank you JDM!!! This never would have happened without you guys! Damb what a rush! I will post more later, time for work. -Mat-

Mat,

the place went nuts when the 10.97 hit the lights.

Awesome for the first time driving in 11 months and at FULL WEIGHT no less.

I am sure this will bring back your will to keep the L.

Congrats again.

VINNIE

That is not bad for the 1st pass. I worked in a shop that worked with the old school motors and they always said that if it had a good finish on the cylinders it was sealed up after it was put together. They would start it and let it run about ten minutes then change the valve springs and then it was put to the test. I always say if it is going to brake that it will do it in the 1st few minutes. That is if you have good parts.

So congrats on the 10 sec. pass I see alot more to come.

Talk about hit and run

The run wasn't even over, and Matt had the truck back up
on the trailer and was driving out of the place

YOU GOT WHAT YOU CAME FOR

Glad we go to talk before hand, I had a good feeling it was coming.
WOO HOO, CONGRATS BRO, YOU DESERVED IT

Congratts Matt
After all you have gone through I was really happy for you. I was working at the starting line when you made that run. I wanted to shake your hand after but you were long gone.

See you soon
Don
