Changing stock upper blower pulley for 2.73 pulley

I know everyone has said to change the lower crank case pulley because it's easier, but I had already ordered the upper pulley/pulley puller from PulleyTechonologies.

I'm now in a dilemma. The rear half of the puller won't fit behind the pulley because the air intake thing is in the way!

Do I scrap the idea and try to get my money back from PT, or is it possible to remove the snout and then the pulley that way?

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!

Marc

i bought a pulley from pulleytechnologies too. and when i installed mine i hade remove from the throttle body down to the intake. after that just play with it a little and you should be able to fit the puller in. it take 1/2 hour tops, and youll see up to 2 lbs of boost!

That's what I ended up doing. Then as I was putting on the two U shaped clamps that go behind the pulley, I dropped one of the nuts! It's somewhere in the engine compartment so I had to put it all back together and I'll take it to Livernois Motorsports and have them do it.
