Barnyards hood is for function and purpose only.. he is not concerned with what everyone thinks of it... he races his truck every week in different point series and does very well at it. It may not be your cup of tea, he likes it though.

Dropped his ET by about a tenth and a half with that scoop.

And yes, he catches hell about the red hood on the black truck all the time.

But like Shane said, he is more interested in function than looks.

the hood is originally off Andres red truck as I remember it ....

One thing for sure people remember that when they see it ...

Some people want a yellow lightning for the same reasons ....

He has also won FFW Houston and has been featured in the FFW news report. Chris and Laura are very active in the HALO club and very good friends. We all give him hell about the hood, but as others have said, it WORKS.

It's like the old racing saying, Function over Form.

There's not that much "function" to that hood scoop. Certainly not enough to overcome the decrease in "form."

His truck though.

You'd be surprised how well it works. Acutally, the gain was already mentioned in this thread.

AMEN bro.

This quote from MSNBC today:

"A third American soldier was killed and another wounded when a roadside bomb hit their vehicle in Balad, 50 miles north of Baghdad, the military said yesterday."

Well, that third dude was my cousin

Keep supporting our men.

I'm sure I speak for many of us when I say that our sympathies go out to you and your family and our highest gratitude to your cousin for his sacrifice to protect our freedoms.

Thank you...

Herb
