prev posted boost gauge ?. checked every thing seems to be OK. aftyer market autometer phantom gauge will pull up to 7#. 5# with litle throtle input . over and under pulleysno boost bypass to my knowledge . factory gauge peged please help

 

Are you sure there isn't a leak in the plumbing to the new gauge?

 

checked it cant find anything suspect pulls to5#with little throtle and will not pull past 7# at WOT even at dead stop while factory gauge is pegged Ted offright before factory sensor

 

Chances are that you gauge is good, and that the line going to it is bad, or the connection is bad. Use a vacume/boost pump to test the line and meters. They can do wonders on troubleshooting this. Sounds like an air leak, or pinhole in the line near the gauge.

 

ok tested gauge in kind of a crued manner but it seems to be on the money. whats up with boost bypass? stock after market .how do i know if i have it or if i have a problem with it
