just curious what your timing is set at on the street and your race tunes....

ohhh, this goes for people with STOCK blocks....

 

12 and 20 91 and 100 octane

 

19 on street, 20-something on street/strip and 18 on nitrous.

It looks high but it runs great.

Yes....

Mine WARM weather tune 50*plus is @ 18*....My winter tune for 49* and less is @ 15*. I run Sunoco/Bp 93 oct.

 

HI!... 26 degree's on street program, for 94 octane. 29 degree's on RACE side, for 100 octane. I'm N/A though, that's why my timing is so high. MIKE keeps adding timing and my 5.4 loves it with my mods. Been on dyno and A/F's are pefect for a N/A engine at 12.3:1. No detonation at all on either program. Been running like this for about 3 years now with NO problems.

 

Typical is 16 street, 20 with 100 octane race fuel. Water/Alc injected can go at least 26 on 91 octane.

I believe 16-18 is typical for a summer tune, and 13-15 is typical for winter tune.

 

13&16 93 oct street 20 locked 100-104 oct race. However I am going to add ADV to my 2 street prog, as soon as I get A dyno on my A/Fs for Sal. That will give me 3 race programs, warm -hot-and god help me!!!

 

16 degrees here (my only program at this time).
Put cold plugs in, and will be trying 18 degrees soon.

 

Couldn't you go with 15-16* and get even more at the back wheels?
