Good source for Bedrug?

Hi guys,

I'm in the market for a bedrug for my '04 L. I got my last one From Rick at RKKustoms.com; great price and great service. But I see his website is gone.

So.... Who's got the best price and best service for one?

Thanks!
Layth

And he owns a Lightning, so he can't be too bad - can he??

Mark at LFP (Lightning Force Performance) has a special for October and I believe the price was around $269 or so. I've dealt with Mark and was very satisfied with his products and service.

Ditto, but I think he was forced to stop selling them for some reason. Mine even had a FORD logo on it:

The guy who sold them for $250 was probably threatened by Wise industries. Usually companies have MAP pricing to attract retailers to sell their product. This is especially true with Wise because they also sell their product to major companies such as Toyota, Ford, and GMC. When a low baller comes on the scene it hurts the companies bottom line because the retailers who sell the product no longer have motivation to sell because the mark up is low to nonexistant. They also have deals set up with the big players to enforce the MAP standards.
What probably happened was the guy who sold the bedrugs for $250 was reported to Wise. Wise through their lawyers sent notice to this seller. The seller told Wise who he purchased the bedrugs from. The wholesale price was probably increased to the wholseller, wise cut the wholeseller off, or wise told wholeseller not to sell to retailer who doesn't follow the pricing structure.
The the cycle will repeat itself once a retailer finds a wholeseller willing to sale at a low price. Retailer sells at low price until he is caught...over and over.
It's a nice cycle, and is true with countless companies and products.

:santa:

Oh yeah, get it from Chickenears. He is a good guy with a hot chick on his website advertising his stuff.

Got mine on eBay for $239 shipped to my door. The SVT patch was sewn on after I got it, though.

I have them in stock and ship everyday. No Ford logo's on mine, just the BedRug logo.

I thought Wise was getting out of Bed Rugs and had sold it off to Ford to be sold as a "Sport-Liner". It was even on their website. What changed?

You can buy them from Ford, Chevy and Toyota dealers direct. I think that is how you get the patch. They also have their own part #'s for the product. I sincerely doubt they sold the product line to Ford. Bedrug makes the liners for those chevy car/truck things they sell.

I am sure that about six months ago they has a press release ontheir website stating that Ford would be where you would buy them. The item is not on their website now. Something must have changed. Perhaps they were going to get out of direct selling.

http://www.bedrug.com/ford.htm

Found this at that link now.
I thought they were getting out of manufacturing them at the time based on what it said then, looks better now.
I will be checking with Tim when I am ready in the spring.
