Do the foglight harness plugs face up or down?

Do the foglight harness plugs face up or down?
The wiring harness plugs for my foglights don't make a very positive snap/click and the passenger side harness keeps falling off. Are they supposed to hang down (contacts pointing up), or can I rotate the whole assembly 180 degrees so they don't hang anymore?

they point down. i had trouble getting one of mine to click into place, but it did eventually.

down prevents moisture from pooling in the bulb socket.

Good point. OK I guess I'll just have to tie-wrap them or something so they don't fall off on bumps. Thanks!
