Just a quick question. How long did you guys truck remained stock after you bought it?

 

When I bought my '99 new...about 800 miles. On my '04... about 150 miles. I had to drive to go get a pulley that a local buddy was giving me.

 

I had a chip and filter before my truck got to the dealer. They were installed within 45 minutes, after I picked the truck up.

 

i bought some mods before i had the truck just to make sure i got it

 

Does a cat-back count? If not then 1 year and 12,000 miles.

 

Filter, FTVB, and 170 t-stat only driveline mods. Bought May 02.

 

I'll be making my 15 payment soon and I have not done one thing to my truck except a K&N panel filter. My motor is still stock. But the previous owner had put on a Borla exhaust, & lowered it, billet grilles, & Roll pan, & chrome wheels. But I have no plans on touching the motor or doing anything else to the truck. Now that there might not be any 3rd gen Lightning. I plan on keeping it as close to stock as I can.

But I am looking for any stock 2000 parts that are listed above. Not looking to sell anything above I just want the stock parts. Also need a Tow hitch.

 

Now that's quick Don......... I waited 8 months...

18 months and then in the 19th? Well, I couldn't wait any longer.
Slapped on everything listed below within 45 days.

 

Made it 3 years and 40K miles 100% stock
. It will all change this weekend

 

2 months - full exhaust
6 months - KB and everything else

but I bought my L used, 02 in 04

 

mine came with a chip and pulley.

 

I waited a month.

 

I waited 3 weeks after I got the truck and then I purchased a predator, 6lb lower and an airbox.

10 mos later, I have a built motor, KB, etc!

 

90% of mods in the first 6 months...About broke the bank. Kenne Bell or Blower is next. Whoohoo
