Dyno numbers thanks to JLP!

Hey everyone!
Before I say anymore, I'd like to thank Johnny and Sue for everything they have done for me and the truck to make it run well. I can honestly tell you that they are some of the nicest people you can meet in this business. They have done everything they could to make me a happy customer... and lol... no, I'm not being paid to say this.

I thought I'd post some preliminary numbers from my new engine build. For those of you just joining our program, I drove from California to Topeka for LightningFest and blew my motor mid track. (I think Johnny said that I had 5 broken rods)

However, Johnny is going to retune the truck with the MAF extender so, I might have better numbers coming soon.

Anyways, the truck is tuned for 91 octane gas and I'm running stock headers, stock cats and only 15lbs of boost on my Kenne Bell to break everything in. So things are pretty mild.

The new mods from last time:
JLP built short block
JLP ported heads
Stage 1 cams

The numbers:
533.35 hp/579.46 tq
530.90 hp/592.60 tq

My old numbers with 17.5 lbs of boost were 429hp. So picking up a little over 100 hp with a motor/head/cam swap is great!

holy cr*p batman those are some pretty good gains considering the only power mods you did were the heads and cams and running less boost! Good job, oh and my experience with JLP has always been top notch, great company and people to work with!

What amazes me is how flat the tuners are making the power and torque curves. Nothing but smiles with those numbers on a first try.

Man those are some smoking numbers. I can't imagine the traction problems you are going to have on the street. I have like 100 + less HP than you and can't get traction. Hope this one stays in one piece for you. Good luck with the new 1/4 mile times.
