My dyno numbers...

were a little low, but they aren't bad... Ed Clark does it right, that is all I can say... when my numbers were done, he said you can't beat a bad tune... Meaning his numbers wouldn't be as high as some others, but everything on the truck would be perfect... He hit a flat 11.7 on the air fuel and I am just short of pegging my MAF.... Ed gets in with a seperate laptop and locks the converter so it only pulls in 3rd gear, he then reads all temps and sensors with his laptop and ensures that everything is perfect. The only problem we had was he finished up with a hot truck so the MAF was pulling out timing on it's own, so my number were with just short of 14 degrees of timing... We didn't have time to let it cool down for awhile for just a numbers pull becuase there were a lot stangs behind me. If we wait and cool down, the number would have been higher, but we are certain that my truck will be safe in the winter... Ed was like, we could put a new MAF in, and add timing and lean it, then add new water, on a cool truck and give you some numbers that will look good on paper, but he said he is in the business getting trucks right and making them safe... Well all that said with an almost pegged MAF(takes a little flexibility away), a hot truck pulling some of the timing, 3rd gear pull, and a very safe 11.7 a/f... I hit 415/489.

What max boost is your truck set for? And how much time elapsed inbetween runs?

Thanks!

Ed Clark does tuning for True Blue Performance, you can call and talk to Dan at 1-866-true-blue. I am seeing 13-14 lbs of boost at the top of the rpms... They are SAE numbers, btw...

I haven't quite pegged it, but I am so close that Ed say, with any more air flow, I will need to get a new MAF... SCT makes a great 90 mm MAF now and they aren't too expensive...

Thanks much. I will give them a call and schedule something for this Thursday if they can fit it in. I'll report back once I get everything setup.
