OK - just got my Belltech 2" drop shackles and have a few questions. I have an '04 L. I've done a search and there are a ton of posts involving shackles (too much to weed through) so here goes mine:

1) Do I need to have anything else in the rear "redone" or "repositioned" with only the 2" drop.

2) Do I need to have the rear alligned after the install? If so should I wait a week or so for the leafs to settle back?

3) Anyone know of a good shop in South Orange Count, CA. where I can get this done?

It's a 30 minute job in your driveway. Install and you're done!

 

Yup, it's about a 30 minute job with a good jack and jack stands. I had a vibration (or hum) at 24 mph so I put it back up in the air and rotated the shim under the leaf spring pack. Vibration gone. I am still not level (about 1 inch higher in the rear) but it looks great.

I have this kit on my truck and didn't need to flip or take shims out or do an alignment. I'm VERY happy with the stance.
