Stupid question:

Is your state one of those that require a license plate up front? Do the cops let y'all get away with having it in the front window like that? If so, cool beans. Id hate to have to drill a front bumper to slap plates up front. Why do some States do that? Clearly its enacted by bureaucrats who drive ugly econo boxes......

Nice hood btw.

In NJ you have to have a front plate... But I won't put holes in my bumper, so I just leave it where it is. My father was a cop, so I always got away with a lot of things, so I could probably get away with no front plate but I just keep it there anyway.

I'd do the same thing. I think its stupid any State makes people put holes on the front of their cars.

Thats a good thing about KY, you don't need front plates and no emissions testing. WOO HOO

Front plates so that they could take nice and clear pictures of it when you pass through the red light cameras at all those intersections in the area. The worst part is that now parking enforcement can give you one fix-it ticket every day until you fix it.

SSSSHHHHHHHH. Kieths NOS is only for "cooling purposes" and is supposed to be "Top Secret". Im building my own nos kit as a 2 stage kit. 150 shot out of the whole and then a 200 shot on top. Im supposed to pick up motor next week. If you want, you can come by the shop and hang out sometime.

sorry I hijacked this thread....

Thanks... I could've gotten it cheap at the swap meet also, but I thought I was gonna wait until after winter to do this. I kinda changed my mind last minute.

New Hood

New hood looks very classy!!! Cervini's definitely makes top quality products. I live in South Jersey and the way to get around the front plate issue is to use a bracket that mounts to the underside of the front bumper. The holes are not visible and the bracket and plate can be removed at the strip or for a show.I found this a better solution than having the plate on the dash!!!
