Help with tires please.

I know i know. the thread police might come and get me. I'm at work right now and don't have time to do alot of research. I was wondering what good tires are out there today. I want something that lasts longer than the f1. I got a flat today on my way to work.

Thanx

longer treadlife = less traction/performance

its a give and take relationship. The F1's are a good compromise. They have decent treadlife and decent traction, whereas toyo's have good life but no traction, and Nitto's have no life and god traction.

It all depends on how you treat them too I guess. I have F1's with 21000 on them and they still have plenty of tread. That with probably 75 trips down the track w/ burnouts before each one too.

toyos. but as I've recnetly found out evne toyos aren't good for driving in the rain. Nothing is really for the lightning.

my friend w/ a 00 L put on some nitto 555's this summer since just about every place carrying F1's didn't have any (backorder) and he loved them. Said much better dry and wet traction. He just recently sold his truck and the tread was in good shape. (I know that isn't a long time to gauge the tread wear, but he drove the CRAP outta his L. Also he said that when he got sideways spinning and such that the nitto's felt a lot more predictable that the F1's.
