XM Satellite Questions

I've tried using my cheap XM Radio system (Delphi unit which can be used on a home stereo, in the car, and in the small boom box. I'm using the car kit, but have no good means of getting a connection to the radio in my Lightning. I tried using a small FM modulator, but it doesn't work well at all. I don't know if it's the modulator (can't remember the brand right now), or if the frequencies are issues (all 4 used by the one I have are close or are in use by a nearby FM station). The cassette adapter is a pain, but works great in my car.

Suggestions? I don't want to replace the in-dash radio at this time, I may look to an XM capable CD/Nav unit in 6 months or so.

Thanks.

Rob

If you think the modulator might be the problem, you can get wireless ones from Best Buy. I used one of these to hook up a "Roady" in my friends Jeep and it was much easier to hook up and worked like a champ. Also, I think I remember you can change the frequency to any station you want on that one. Hope that helps.
