I have a set of 2000 style FMS chrome wheels on my 2001L.
I have only had them about 10 months. Well, they have started to discolor around the bottom of the spoke where it meets the outside of the wheel. I have tried cleaning them with meguiars and other stuff and nothing has worked yet. I am under the understanding that they have a 1 year warranty. I was about to contact FMS and take care of this problem but I got deployed to the desert. My problem has gotten worst with this turn of events because I wont be back home until early next year. My first question is, does anyone know of anything to use to maybe clean them and get the chrome back to normal? Next, does anybody know an email address I could contact FMS with and try to see if they will help me out and work with me since there is nothing I can do in the too near future.? I know they have phone#'s but I can't find an email and I have to do my business by email unfortunately. I give a huge thanks to anyone who can offer me any type of help or suggestions with my little issue. Thanks guys.

 

Is the discoloration gold? If so, there's nothing that can be done because that means the nickel and chrome have been polished off.
