Need som advice here please.

Hey guys, I just registered today, and I love the Lightning, I live in Norway so there are not alot of them here, and everyime I see one I get alittle wild, hehe. Well the thing is we are buying a new car, and my dad wants a truck, and I told him about the lightning. He seems alittle intrested, but he is not really looking at trucks in this price rang. I told him you can haul the boat with no problem, alot of space for things in the trunk and it is a FUN *** car

But I need some more info I can tell my dad.

1) Like how much gas does it use in the city (if you try to use as little as possibal)? Highway (if you try to use as little as possibal)?

2) How is driving this Supercharged beast at low RPM? Does it feel like a regular car, so that my mon dosent have any prob driving it? She will be driving it alot, and she is not used to RWD at all, don't think she has ever driven RWD.

3) How does it handle in the snow? It has an LSD so it shouldent be a problem?

4) How is the comfort in the lightning? Will it suit my mom (she dosent like a hard-*** ride)?

Thanks for taking the time to answer these questions. Hopefully this will help me talk my dad and mom into getting a Lightning

Number one is going to kill you.

I assume that you calculate in liters per 100 km. And, the Lightning uses some gas. In the city you'll be about 18 liters per 100km - if you don't put your foot down. If you do put your foot down, you'll get less.

Driving it is no problem, just don't put your foot down. Snow is going to be a big problem due to the wide tires and poor tread pattern for snow. Use snow tires and/or chains.

Comfort is great, I think.

But the gas will kill you if the prices are similar to other places I regularily travel in Europe - Germany, UK, France.

Vilhelm, I enjoyed talking to you earlier.

Remember, get your Dad to test drive a Lightning and he'll be sold.

Take Care.
