Ok guys, here is a follow up to last weekends trip to the drags. Just a reminder, my truck ran a 13.59 at 100.23mph. This was with a 2.0 60ft time. Pretty slow considering my mods. Check sig. Sal's thinking my truck is running pig rich at WOT. I think he is right. My truck put down 357HP today. The dyno held a "dyno competition" so I didn't get any torque numbers or a air/fuel reading. Im going back next weekend to get some real info(air/fuel) Should I take anything with me? A blank disc, to get a copy of my run? I did get a printout of my pull. It has the HP curve with the wheel speed at the bottom. Can I tell much by looking at it? Probably not.

BUT

back in 02, I ran my first 12's with a simple Open Filter, Chip, N 4lb Lower. (on F-1's to a 12.8 @ 106. something)
NO OTHER MODS WHAT SO EVER
Before that I was stuck in the 13's also, my problem turned
out to be a very simple one, I NEEDED MORE TIMING.............


A/F's can be a lot richer than you think
and Timing can DEF be a lot higher than most think

I got 19 on my Nitrous Program
and even more on my 24/7 daily program
my A/F's showed 10.4 at 5500 RPM / 127 MPH
making 501/615

 

I would for sure see what timing your running....my L is @ 19 and I run 93 BJ's gas with no ping....

I dynoed my L again yesterday just to see what it put down...just for grins and it has been running well lately...best mph of 109.84
