x-plan, how does it work.

ok, after reading some stuff, I think my dealership screwed me on my x-plan. They gave me the Ford $4000 rebate and then the X-plan gave me another $1000 and 2.9% for 72 months. This is on a 04 Explorer Sport Trac XLT Premium.

I think they screwed me. Shouldnt I get the Ford Rebate and then a percentage off the vehical price after the rebate from Ford?

So anyone with facts on how it works, let me know.

Chris

Edit: other reason I think they screwed me is they gave a price of $26600 when I first walked on the lot with the Ford Rebates. After I told them I could get x-plan, the price was still $26600. Purchase date was Octaboer 6th 2004.

Not certain, but I know the A plan price is right on the invoice. Maybe the x plan is also. There should be no messing around with the price. It is cut and dried. SVTJAY is right about how the final price should be figured.
