New GuY!!!!!!!

Well I have an 01 L and I just wanted to know where to go from here. I do have a 70,000 mile warranty but I have not decided whether to void it or not. Right now I have a CAI, Bassani Cat-Back, Accufab TB, and the Boost Bypass is done. Goal is a low 12 truck. Can any one start me in the right direction? I appreciate any replies!!! I am looking into a Kenne Bell too, if my dads friend is willing to let me take it off before he sells his truck.

Kenne Bell, Pulley, and a good tune should get you into the low 12's easy.... Especially on slicks...

Low 12's...here's a copy of what I just posted on another board:

1) Lakewood traction bars

2) ET Streets on some stock Ford 16" aluminum wheels

3) FTVB with 4x4 pan

4) KB supercharger (or maybe the new Whipple), pullied on the KB for 14-15psi boost (leaving stock caged pulley on the truck.)

5) Predator with custom dyno tune

6) PSP or JLP CAI kit

That is all I would buy. That would = roughly 450RWHP. That combo would get you low 12's, if not a high 11 on a nice day. Add a used stall converter for $300-500 to get some good 60' times and you'll turn low 12's even in the summer heat.

A good source (near you) for the Predator and tune is Swanson's Automotive in Torrance, CA. You'll need to have another O-2 sensor bung welded into the exhaust before it goes on the dyno. And take a recorder with you. The sound of the truck on the dyno is music.
