"SVT" on Lightning blower nose

I see that the 2001 and above have "SVT" on the blower nose instead of "EaToN" which looks to be on the 2001 and older.

Is there a difference in these blowers?

they are a rare special edition. If you can get one, snag it up quickly. The gear ratios are different thereby producing more boost, but very few know about this..

If you aren't going to get it, send me a PM and I'll look at it

Adam i know what you are after, the pre 01 blower ASSEMBLIES had a faulty intercooler if you are looking for the assembly pay the extra and buy the SVT edition.

Hey all,
Thanks for the laughs (peanut butter filled) as well as the more helpful comments.

Reason I asked was because I purchased the SVT assembly.
This assembly is a 2001, 10row intercooler, SVT unit.

I'm looking forward to installing it.

I also have an 01 here which says Eaton. So is it interchangeable with the 2002 + SVT mark SC?

I had a chance to compare the bottom of a 1999/2000 blower with the "early" bolt pattern and the bottom of a 2001/2004 blower with the "late" bolt pattern. The main housing castings appeared to be identical and the only difference is which set of bosses have holes drilled in them. It is as if they knew the change was coming. The SVT/Eaton logo on the blower snout casting was probably a mid production change.

Kemo,
You're probably right that the "SVT" logo addition was a mid-year sort of thing.

There's got to be a Ford history expert on this board that can confirm.
