Initial Diagnose from Dr. PSP
Initial Diagnose from Dr. PSP
Well I dropped off my truck at PSP to figure out what Ford screwed up. After checking all the basic things that can cause a misfire with no luck and Sal said it was probably the timing chain.
So I dropped it off and he pulled the timing cover off. Initially it looks like the passenger side is off one tooth and the driver side is off 2 teeth going off the paint marks on the chain form Ford. Said it is at least one off. So he is pulling the chain and reseting it himself.
Amazing on the quality check Ford has.

Both guys were pissed till he went upfront and explained why, and what would happen if he shot through the job. They understood then.
If you have a good mechanic who knows what he is doing, will take his time, and will make sure everything is 100% okay, then all work related issues will never happen.
