THANKS for the welcome Ijust put the brisk plugs in a few weeks back .I definantly like the improved idle smooth as glass.I'm hoping to go to the track this fri and run the truck. I ran at Lfest 1st 1/4mile i've ran 13.69 100 mph.Hope to improve don't exspect the plugs to help much but i'm going to drop the spare and tailgate and leave onthe snugtop. But the truck does accelerate better w/the new plugs over stock.13k miles and also changed fuel filter 1st time sameday prettydirty.I ran 8.81 1/8 so I'd like to hit 8.6s 1/8 all we have around here.BTW I live in EVANSVILLE IN,

Thanks RED, they are HRE 546's, and I have a thread about them here:

welcome!

your quarter-mile times sound about right, 02 RED BOLT. My friend has a red 02 L w/ intake, 2" rear drop, bassani x-pipe and spin tec mufflers, and a custom predator tune from JLP and he ran a 13.5 (forgot the mph). i think the temps were in the mid-high 70's, so i think there is some room for improvement for my friend's times. Just thought i would chime in on that since ya'll have about the same mods. Does your truck "hop" when u launch? My friend's does it real bad.

peace

Hey Keith! This is Jeff from LFest. Glad you like the brisk plugs...how long did they take you to put in? Now you just need you a 4 pounder and you'll be set. I ordered my 12 second club sticker from Doug shortly after I got back.
I may have had some good times that weekend, but there's always someone (or something) to spoil that... On my way back home I had just about driven through Oklahoma City when I needed to stop for gas. I'm going underneath the overpass to get to the gas station and see an ambulance coming my way, so I slow down and pull off to the side. All the sudden I hear screaching tires and look back in my rearview just in time to see the person rearend me. I was so pissed at first because I knew it was going to look like crap, but when I was able to get out and look it over it wasn't too terribly bad looking. He ended up twisting my bumper just enough to push it into my quarter panel and crack the bottom corner by the ground effect. Maybe I can get a nice rollpan outta this $1300 dollar ordeal
Hope ya'll made it home ok...
