Thumbs up After a little cleaning it isn't quite so bad(smashed part 2)

I took a little adhesive reomer and cleaned off most of the rubber and paint from when I got hit.

It still isn't great but it is a ton better.

Vinnie called me up and told me he has a good fender for me, so all I need now is a drivers side Mirror. Maybee someone who replaced there mirror might have one I can pickup cheep. If so let me know. If I can get the fender here in time, I will try to make it to JDM day, if not I might just have to take the Focus.

The bumper looks like it will be OK as it just has a little scratch on it, and I was planning on getting it repainted this winter anyways.

So I am much happier today, and it should be perfect again real soon.

Don don't bail on us! Even if your truck has battle scars, you better bring it to JDM day!

Oh, and it does look a lot better!

Wow that looks much better. Looks almost like one of those paintless dent removal places could almost make it 100%

Ya allmost
It does look so much better with all the rubber gone.

The problem is the sharp crease that goes the whole length of the wheelwell. It is hard to see it the picture but there are about 5 dents on that crease. So it would be hard to get it perfect without using some body filler. Plus the fender has streached some due to the hit it took, and the door seem is tighter than it used to be. It is a little to close for comfort, and I don't want to wreck the paint on the door.

But I am much happier today than I was on Sunday.

use the paint on the side of each spoke on the rims. My friend did this to similar rims with purple paint on his purple lambo and it looked sick. Looking straight at it all chrome. from and angle or with the wheel turned a little you saw chrome and the painted sides. I think I may have a pic I will check it out when I get home.

Or maybe smoothing the grille and black part of the mirror, side steps and painting them blue.

Don

Have them spray the underside of the hood with the extra paint. Would look pretty neat and hide some dirt and grime. Just an idea.

Suavy will do

Looks like I am set with the mirror too. A buddy who used to have street scene mirrors who traded the truck in, is sending me a mirror.

Maybee if someone has a mint silver bumber I might be interested in one of those.

I like the idea of painting the underside of the hood, maybee just do the cross members under the hood. Keep feeding me with ideas, who knows what someone might come up with. I have thought about remobing the emblems off the tailgate and painting a SVT and Ford Logo back there.

Maybee I will do a paint job like this guy

Those A Holes would sure be able to see me then

I think that chrome paint would cause more accidents if it's even partly sunny out

I was trying to think of something on tailgate, looks like your already there.
Glad it's not as bad , and everybodys pitchin in
