Running 12's with 20"s

Does anyone run at the track with 20"s? I go by the "run what you brung" I took my 99 to the track about three weeks ago. I have 20"s and 305/40/20 an ARE 100LB bed cover and about 75 Lb's of stereo. I didn't take the spare off, towing or even for that matter the hitch off. Temp was about 90's and 29.30 pressure. I have a #2 lower and a SAFE daily driver tune from RWTD. Times are as follows. Are these respectable for the equip and wieght listed?

Question is can you run 12's with 20"s???

60' - 2.09
1/4 - 13.612
MPH - 100.98

Thanks for any inpunt.

Next mods: Just in MVB from LFP and 2" drop shackles.

It's been done, but you'll need more that a 2# pulley...

That must have been a sight.

12's on 20's is one of my next goals for my truck.

Your a monster Madness. I'm here in San Antonio. You know how the weather in Texas is. I'm just a daily driver and can't afford to go over board (engine BOOM!) with mods. I just want to get a little quicker time and be safe. Is there a way??

How about if your 20's and tires weigh less than the stock wheels/tires?

Do you know where to get a L full cover? I'm at a place for a while that doesn't have covered parking or a garage and would like to cover the L during the week.

A good safe off the shelf tune is the 1715 microtuner with HP4 setting for the 4 lb pulley.

1715 hand held tuner
4lb pulley
TR6 plugs @.035 in Texas humidity
and you can run 12's at SAR...been there.

I sold my 1715 to Todd.....bought the 9100 along with the Apten port.....

I'd say get the 4 pounder. I am currently running consistant 13.3 on 22's. I'm hoping with the colder weather I will break into the 12's. If not then I will have to get an E-fan.
