In December Famoso drag strip is having a private event with several cobras and lightnings already registered. For $100 you can have your way with the quarter mile. There will be only 55-75 other vehicles racing so plan on more trips than you can count down the 1320 on one of the fastest tracks in the US. The cool winter air and good track prep should make for some awesome times.

Famoso is just north of Bakersfield which is only a 2 hour drive north of Los Angeles.

That is what happens when I post around 1am.

If you plan to attend you will need to payby next month. You most likely will not be able to show up, pay, and race on the event day.

 

You MUST pay by the date listed on the website... No payments will be accepted at the track..

I played a small hand in setting up the track-day (The page is hosted on my webspace)

Going to fun... be cool to see 50 lightnings at 20-other vehicles out there

Will spectating be free for those who spend too much on mods to afford $100?

 

As far as I know, a registered driver can bring as many spectators as he/she wants... no additional cost..

So you could be one of my "spectators" if you didnt want ot pay to race
