Just traded my '01 Audi S4 Avant in on a 2004 Lightning. Bright red paint and uh.. .well... that's all the options there were!

In short: I freaking love this truck.

It's definitely faster than my S4 was, so ridiculously fast that I'm finding myself driving around aimlessly, just on a quest to find some excuse to hear that blower whine...

Oh, bug on the windshield. Gonna have to get on it!!

Best part about the lightning... it matches my dedicated roadrace mustang color perfectly .. has Ford been using Vermillion red for a while now? I know they stopped a decade or more ago ... this means I can get touch-up paint in the spray cans for the stang once again!

That these things tow so well is just awesome... I can't wait to hook my flatbed trailer up and tool my new 'Ford Rig' to the track.

Now I just need lightning wheels for the trailer....

Lastly, you'll never believe the purchase price. $1500 off X-Plan + $4k dealer incentive = $24,747. Never in my life have I got such a great deal on a vehicle before.

Been waiting for Ford to offer me something that I would drive... once again I bleed Ford Blue for the daily driver!!!
