Is a x pipe need with are trucks? I'm thinking about changing exhaust systems and the one I'm looking does not have a x pipe. I have a Bassani right now.

Is it a single muffler design? I have always thought you would want an "equalization" section (X-pipe or internal design on a single muffler setup)

No, it's a dual design.

It is important when you have a muffler off of each manifold.
If you have both banks running into the same muffler it is equalized.

I installed an X-pipe on my C5 for equalization......

Not necessary, but a good idea.

I thought the new Bassani setups came with an X pipe? I've got the Magnaflow single muffler catback - it has an internal X.

They do, but the new set up I'm looking at has two mufflers and no x. The system I'm looking at is 3" exhaust from ATR.
