6# and TR6 Plugs

I just put in some TR6's and a 4# QC if I wanted to go to a 6# will these plugs hold up OK? BTW full Bassani Exhaust is going on this week also. Not sure if that effects the change but just in case thought I would ask or should I just chill with the 4# for a while? I need to get a tune/dyno(supposed to be Wed) so should I wait until after the exhaust (Thurs/Fri)since I am reading that the A/F is going to change with the new exhaust??? Just want to be smart about this stuff. Thanks all.

TR6's will be fine

I run TR6's with a 8lbs lower, a KB with any upper pulley including a 2.8 upper. This combo gives me over 20lbs of boost so you will be fine.

cool, nice to know. Do you think I need to wait to get my tune until after the exaust install? I want to get my tune done right the first time.

Sal said my tr-6 were fine for street use, but on a full race truch he wanted me to use br-7 to keep detonation at bay.

by the time my truck was to get in full race mode I would probably be due a plug change. Good to know though that the TR6 can handle a 6# if need be with no real det. problems. Thanks.

TR 6 here.
4# lower, 2.80 upper(1&1/2#) and many, many passes with a 50 shot of nitrous.
Have looked at plugs many times and they are fine.
To help keep detonation at bay and because changing to a colder plug is so much work, I allways run a good mix of 100 or 104 octane gas when on the spray.
