I think those are pretty trick. I'm trying to keep mine stock looking for the smog guys, but those should sell depending on price.

Cool. Nice artwork. I could see the Dodge guys ask me "is that what it looks like under the hood when an L spits a plug?" at the next Whataburger gathering.

In all honesty, Im sure some guys that show their trucks will send your friend some business, depending on price, of course.

better make sure that is heat resistant paint. because if that is the standard water or acrylic paint, it will be bubbling the first time your underhood gets up to temp.

not really my taste. but thanks for sharing.

those look badass. only drawback i see is getting something that nice looking to stay looking like that with all the dirt and grime the engine gets. Either way nice product.

Pretty cool. Probably easier to keep clean than aluminum. I might be into a set depending on $$$.

I think they look great, the only drawback is:

1. as was mentioned above, they will need regular cleaning on a daily driven vehicle, and with the ridges still in place, it will be even worse.

2. they will be hard to see once in the truck.

but like I said, I think they look great.

as for this concern, I've had mine on for about 8,000 miles, no peeling, fading, cracking, yellowing, etc. standard automotive paint with clear coat.

just alot of dust to wipe off all the time to keep 'em clean.

later,
chris

chris, no offense, but automotive paint is not your standard airbrush acrylic paint, which I know for a firsthand fact, will melt and bubble at heat!

ahhhh, now I understand what you are saying, I didn't even think about that.

I didn't know that they need to use special paints for airbrushing.

in that case, you have an excellent point.

still looks neat though.
