Is a 255lph pump the same physical size as stock?

Just wondered cause I bought 2 255 pumps from a local shop and they are the exact same size as stock. The wiring harness is a different shape also. Can you usually just plug the new pumps in with the stock connector? I remember when I upgraded my 87 mustang pump it was physically bigger than the stock unit. I just don't want to have to go through the hassle of soldering wires if they really aren't 255 pumps.

Doesn't say a brand. All it says is 3s4u-9350-aa.
After looking around some sites think they came from rpm outlet. The picture on there web site looks like the ones I have. They also look different then the ones on jdm and psp's site. Does any one know what the difference is?

I did the swap on mine myself. Put in the "wide mouth" Walboro 255's.

The electrial connection just plugged in, but you had to grind out the "C" section of the mounting bracket for the larger pump to sit in.

I was going to take pictures of the install, but said screw it. With all the smack talk lately, Iam sure somebody would have some chit to say, and I figured it wasn't worth the effort
