Leaf springs help

So there I was knee deep in the.....kidding. Check it out,I plan on getting new leaf springs for my 03 since I am replacing most of my suspension anyways and the rusty stock ones bug me.I called the Ford dealer to see about getting 00 leafs so I could bring the *** end down a bit and ol' boy gave me the same part # XL3Z-5560-AA (Code S)for both. I thought the leafs in the 03/04 would be a different part # then 99-02 since they sit lower in the *** end then mine do.
Can I get some clarrification,I will order another set for my 03 either way but would like leaf springs from a earlier model if possible.
Thanks guys.

Yeah I think you are right, in the 03-04 models they added a leaf spring to the suspension.

Thats what I thought but don't you think the part number would be different? Don't think a 99-02 owner would want the 03/04 lift kit leafs you know

I just removed the next to bottom leaf from the springs on my 01. It dropped the A$$ end about 1- 11/2 inch I moved the rear shackle up untill i get some drop springs on the front so the rear wouldnt be sitting lower

Yeah that was a thought but since I am going to have new A arms, drop brackets, shackles, and sway bars I figured I might as well get new leafs and ditch the rusty ones but if I could have gotten older L model ones then cool a +. Heck IF I dont have a choice I will get the new ones and remove a leaf before I install them. New and rust free to boot. What can I say I can be ****. Thanks man.

I already have WC drop bracket and shackles that I can adjust from 2"-5" and really with my 2" A arm drop in the front with stock leafs maybe about 4" in the rear. So 2" leafs might be a bit more then I need though and the Roush ones probably cost more then the $131 ea. for stock. I would think???
