Expedition Console Question

Yes Tim I Searched.


I have all the parts now. Only thing i'm confused with is what do you do with the exisiting track bar that runs down the middle of the cab and where do you attach the new pcs to the seat? Anyone have any pics? Thanks Jim

The new tracks go on the bottom of the seat pan that you should have had your seat cut to fit...on this pic, the bottom is on the floor (you're looking at the top), so the tracks would go on the bottom of this, if you look, you can see the 4 holes where they will mount to.

The old seat track will not work, so it's basicly trash, or e-bayable...what ever you want to do with it.

If this doesnt clear it up for you, post some pics of what you've got and I'll see if I can figure out what you're talking about...

great pics.......do i have to pull the existing track that runs down the center of the cab up? also how do i know where to mount the track for this new seat? eyeball it? thanks

The track is attached to the seat. The holes are already there in the floor under the carpet, but you may need to tap them to the correct thread of the seat bolts.
