I own a 99 WS6 Trans Am and have HPTuners software Iuse to tune it with my laptop. Is there any similar siftware out there for the Lightninhg that I can buy without havinhg to use a chip or go to a FAST system?

Yes there is, I have it on my 03. Made by SCT, called the Pro Racer system. Buy it here:
