Question dyno tune question?

I live in Richmond and dont know when I'll be able to make it up to NJ to get a dyno tune so my question is... if I get my truck dyno'd here and send the results/chip to a tuner could they give me a custom tune with that info. or do I have to have my truck at their dyno? Thanks in advance for any feedback!

You can do it that way. But it would be much like you doing a surgical procedure for the first time. Making a cut, calling the doctor, hang up, make some more cuts, call the doc, hang up, ect...

There is always an unspoken thing too. When you go to the tuners shop he now 100% knows *HIS* setup and can more quickly get you dialed in. Helps him pay for *HIS* investments in the shop and equipment too.

I know it cost's you more. But I do believe it's worth it in the end. I'm so glad I went to REM for mine. 12.4s on a 4#er is a good testimate of a good tune IMO.

You can clearly see my mods, the timeslip, and the VIDEO on my web page.

For what it's worth I was bustin 12.7s before the Apten port. Yes Jr. It is in the tune!

(it was about 70F and 55% humidity)

Wydopnthrtl did go 12.4 with his 4# lower and stock upper.

i don't know what secret he has in that tune, besides it was on the dyno all day, with many many pulls to get it perfect, but his truck pulls on all but 1 truck that had a 6# lower, (before the porting)

I sent my chip to SAL, he gave me a program, I drove out there (3 days) on the program he gave me and then I had him dyno tune it.
i was going to do the mail order thing, but decided to make the trip and do it right.

Well from what I see here and there about those tires.... They have been *around the block* more than a 8 mile *****!

I just honestly believe two things that makes my *full weight* gen 2 quick. I've been racing mildly modded street cars for a long time. (simple experience) And....

Paul at REM did it right!
