WOW.. The FFW Championship will be decided in the final round

The Finals is Lacey against Paul Gamino.

If Lacey wins he is the Champ(Him and Jamie will be tied for points , but Lacey has 2 wins to Jamies zero) and gets the NEW f-150. If Paul wins then Jamie (Fomoco fan) is the Champ.

Talk about suspence....

"Broke out"???

So I guess its _still_ a bracket-style race? Broke out and drag racing are not synonomous terms, IMHO (yes, I know what it means, and yes, it is part of bracket racing...I'm clear on that).

Run what you brung... first to the finish line is the winner.

DRAT

Sorry to hear that.It would have been nice to see Paul get the win,and Jamie get the truck.

Either way both had very good years racing as well as quite a few others including the champ.

If some of you haven't been to a FFW race it is a good time with good people, and you should think about attending if possible.

...so true, my buddies 95 F-150 (dial of 12.3) got taken out by a 14.5 second newer f150 spraying today at FFW (Ennins), he a little bit better reaction time though.

Man I had a great time up there this weekend!!!

Ok, Gator... I should have qualified that last statement. Seriously, though... getting their first and breaking out sucks. Drag racing and "getting on the brakes at 1100'" represents polar opposite thoughts.

Doug... I just thought that the heavy-hitters would be running in a heads-up class by now. In fact, way back in the beginning of the Lightning class races, it WAS heads-up. How do I know? I raced my Vortech-blown '94 Gen 1 from time to time. There was a "stock" class and a "modified" class. Run what you brung.

I completely understand the reasoning behind bracket racing. I guess I just figured things had evolved enough that the L's would have their own "shootout" type class.

I broke out by .04 and Lacey broke out by .03. I really wanted to finish the season with a win but I took too much strip at the other end. I never thought that the truck would go under the number after I tapped the brakes. I can think of a dozen or so races this year alone where the lack of the brake pedal cost me the win. Only practice will make me a better bracket racer.

I ended up 4th overall for the season in the truck class and 5th overall in the focus class. On Sunday I went -.009 red in the second round of focus.

Congratulations to all the top ten racers in all the classes. It was a great season.

I want to give a big thumbs up to Jim for presenting each of the top ten a awesome trophy, and making up for Fun Ford screwing the 2nd place points finisher out of the 2 year lease. He is giving Fomocofan, who finished in 2nd place a new built motor.

To me that was a classy move,
