Thumbs up Just got back from JLP dyno tune

Well the girlfriend bought me the best birthday present ever, a dyno tune at JLP
After I slapped on a 4# and got a new revolution diablo chip, I took it up to John's shop.

On the street side she pulled: 381.53 / 491.88
race side: 396.67 / 508.30

Air/Fuel stayed between 11.7-11.9 the whole time

Run conditions 82.09 F, 29.47 in-Hg, Humidity: 59% ( it was actually raining)

Overall I am very pleased and I can't wait to get to the track to see some good times hopefully.

Thanks to everyone at JLP

Jon

p.s. check classifieds for Diablo Delta chip and 2# pulley if interested....

Those numbers look right on to me. SAE or STD?

STD gives the highest numbers on the graph
SAE is the industry standard and gives lower numbers.

you are looking at about 10hp less with SAE.

Have JLP E_mail you the dyno run files, then go to
www.dynojet.com
click on auto
click on download and download and install the program

you can change the correction factor and almost anything else, to see the differences yourself.
(very very easy to do)

Re: Just got back from JLP dyno tune

I just got back from JLP today too!! Johnny retrieved my custom tune and dyno'd. The numbers weren't as impressive as your's but I'm happy for the time being. I had 387/479 with his tune, 361/458 on the predator tune. Bought a 4" drop for the rear while I was there. (had a eibach.sp??. 1/2 drop and wasn't happy with the back end) hopefully this will resolve that issue!

I was turning 13.06 1.88 60 ft with the predator, so I'm hoping I might dip into the 12's, if I launch correctly!!
Hope this weather ends soon!!
