What to do next.

Here are my mods:
apten port blower and upper intake
4lb lower
Bassani catback
160 thermo
oil seperator
FTVB
JLP traction bars
JLP intake
cracked JLP thunder pipe
Slicks
Diablo black chip
bed rug
full stereo

I am looking for some ideas on my next mods. I have around 2500-3000 to send. I was thinking either save more for a built or get some headers and suspension work and be done for now until I come into some money in the future for a built motor.

What would you guys do with that cash for the truck?

Ahhh Tom, the possibilities are endless. Maybe 6lb lower with some N.O.S. The exaust idea sounds like it is in order but if I were you, I`d save a few more coins for a Kenne-Bell. Good Luck Buddy !!!!

I would love some nitrous or a kb but not until I build the motor. Do not want another 5 months of down time.
So I guess it is either go built or some mods to make it run safer and better.

How do you guys think this would compare to the hotckins kit. I would just want a lowered truck be not sacrifice too much ride quality. I live in NYC and the roads are nasty around me.

If I were in your shoes. I'd save a little and do a short block this winter when your not driving it. Then go with a bigger pulley and a good dyno session.

From all the research I did, the Roush would ride significantly better than the Hotchkis kit. I went with the Roush kit, installed it in a few hours, and am very, very pleased with the results. Handles much better than stock, lowers the truck very nicely all the way around, and rides extremely close to stock. You would be hard-pressed to tell a difference in ride when driving normally.

It's worth the $$, IMHO.

You can see pics of the difference in ride height on my website. Here are the pics of the L:
