A.S.A.P Getting Tune of PC

Denny? Anyone? Sal finished my custom tune. Im trying to get it off my pc and on to my Predator. When I hit sen file, it brings up the transfer file screen, but for some reason it won't transfer the file to my Predator? I get a message that says error, wrong file header Thanks

Wrong File Header is normal. But if it's not transferring, check your baud rate. Click on options, then port settings, and change it to 56k instead of 112k. That should do it.

Everything on the baud rate is right. Any other ideas?

Are you using the same connections you used to get your factory tune off your predator onto your pc?

On the predator, are you going to 'Import tune' first?

Can you describe what you are doing? Maybe you have an incorrect step.

The "wrong header error message" appears at the bottom of the screen when you select the file. When I open the file, the transfer screen opens like normal, but nothing is sent to the Predator.

Like Sal said, I would need more of a step by step of what you are doing on the PC and the Predator

Hey Sal, will you call me if I send you an email with my phone number in it? I have followed the instructions exactly. It acts like their is a communication problem between my pc and the Predator? Thanks

What about all the steps you have to select on the Predator itself? There is more to it than just the pc interface program.

Power up the Predator. Choose Options. Choose Custom Tune. It will prolly give you a screen like "this is for dealers and experts only", choose Agree. Then select Import Custom Tune. You should come to a screen that says Overwrite temp tune?. Stop there. Go into the pc interface program, find the file, then click OK to start uploading the file from PC, and immediately hit YES to overwrte temp tune on the Predator, and it should start loading.

The baud rate was set wrong in the pc software. Everything worked good. Going for a test drive. Thanks a lot for your help! Can you write something for the predator so it will work in my parents 2000 TransAm?

Back from the test drive. Flooring it from a stop or in first gear, is useless. Time for some drag radials. Thanks Sal great tune!
