Code p0153- O2 sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 2-Sensor 1)??? Help????

Code p0153- O2 sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 2-Sensor 1)??? Help????

Posted about truck almost stalling the other day. All of a sudden service engine soon light came on. Pulled code P0153, which says slow respone from bank 2 sensor 1. Any ideas.

I did my headers and high flows a couple weeks ago and it's been fine, now this.??????????????????????????????????????

normally that would indicate that you need a new sensor.

assuming you haven't melted or chaffed any wires due to the header install.

any special sensor i should use??? Are they the same as regular f150???

Don, remove the bad one and bring it to Ford and have them use the part # off it as a reference.

Sensor 1 =Front 02

crap

i replaced the sensor and the code hasn't returned but the truck is falling on it's face. Kinda feels like when i blew a coil pack 2 years ago. Could these two have any relation.

Another thing........my wide band is bottoming right out at 18 when this stumble starts to occur. What the ****. I hate when **** is broke

I have 8 o2 sensors sitting at my house forsale.

$15/each.

Are you sure about that? I'm pretty sure that's what my code was and it was the drivers side upper oxygen sensor.

The Front 02s are interchangeable so you should be able to swap them and see if the code changes.

MaxTorque02,
Your right, Bank 1 is always the side with cylinder 1 on Fords AFAIK
