Took Delivery Of The L Today!
Took delivery of my '04 Silver L this afternoon. 
All I have to say is WOW - and this is coming from a guy that owned a '99 L and a '01 Corvette.
The 2004 L is really really nice. Ford took steps to correct a lot of the little stuff that was wrong with the '99/'01 and added a lot of nice touches.
Overall this truck feels more solid, smoother and faster than my stock '99.
I'll post some pics soon - but it isn't like you guys haven't seen your share of Lightnings.

I think I know just how you feel. I traded my 99 L in for a new 04 two months ago.
Hard to believe it is a vehicle so versital to race, play, drive to work and enjoy. Not to mention it can haul something other than your A$$.

This is true! I will already be putting her to use tomorrow. Gotta move 40 cases and 6 4 foot display cabnets to storage... not looking forward to it!
At least I will get to do it all in the L!

Diff Block with more surface area to seal the Heads
New Head Gaskets that don't blow as easy
More Spark Plug Threads in the heads, no more spitting plugs
Even talk of better Rods than the 02's ???

Welcome back man. Say, how'd you like the '01 Vette? I've owned 3 Vette's in the past (last one was a '96) but have never driven a C5. I was affraid I'd like it too much and want to buy another. Have fun with the L.
